My Pink & Yellow Summer In Greece
Every Greek summer has its colours.
For me, this year June began with PINK and YELLOW.
PINK reminds me of the bougainvillea that seems to appear everywhere during summer. The bright flowers climbing over white walls, the warm evenings, the little streets that suddenly turn into a sea of colour.
YELLOW reminds me of sunshine, striped umbrellas, beach towels drying in the sun and long afternoons by the sea.
As a sewing designer, I often find myself collecting colours before I collect fabrics. A colour becomes an idea, then a mood board and eventually a handmade project.
This summer I started creating Etsy curated collections inspired by my favorite summer colours. I begun with Pink and Yellow pieces that show my mood and personal taste in fashion. Think of them as little mood boards you can shop: from summer fashion and accessories to handmade finds and beautiful pieces that inspired my sewing projects.

These collections are not only a source of inspiration... they also include some of my own handmade creations. In my Pink Summer in Greece collection, you'll find my upcycled pink denim bag alongside other pieces that capture the same soft summer mood. In my Yellow Summer in Greece collection, I've included my yellow towel beach bag and my Getaway Tote with matching ruffle pouch, inspired by sunshine-filled days by the sea.
Creating these collections has been a lovely way to gather together the fabrics, handmade projects and little details that capture the feeling of a Greek summer for me.
I hope they inspire you too, whether you're planning your next sewing project, looking for summer inspiration or simply dreaming of warmer days.
I'd love to know: which colour feels most like summer to you?
